Family Support Cooperative Kicks Off First Meeting of New School Year at Rosedale School

Austin, TX—The Family Support Cooperative will host its first meeting of the 2011-2012 school year tonight, September 13, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Rosedale School, located at 2117 W. 49thStreet. The Family Support Cooperative is a collaborative effort among Austin Independent School District (AISD), Austin Travis County Integral Care and the Arc of the Capital Area to inform and support families of children with disabilities.

Each semester, hundreds of parents from the Central Texas region attend these Family Support Cooperative meetings designed for parents with children of all ages and all types of disabilities. These meetings are available to parents, siblings, caregivers and educators. Spanish and sign language interpreters will be available. Free pizza and childcare will be provided beginning at 6:00 p.m.
