Austin ISD is committed to supporting each family in the transition group to receive a seat assignment that meets their needs. Current Dual Language families will be provided continuation of programming.
In order to meet these commitments, ongoing two-way communication is important. A family survey will be sent on December 9, 2025 to all families in this group. The Enrollment Services Team and the Multilingual Education Team will be using the responses to provide individual communication to families early in the 2026 spring semester. This communication may include confirmation of holding a seat, timelines for further updates if more time is needed before a confirmation can be made, important next steps, and general timelines.
Final re-registration seat assignments will be completed and confirmed through the Enroll Austin system using the dates shared here [link.]
