Austin ISD is resuming the boundary realignment process with a series of two kick-off sessions. Our objective remains to continue working toward building aligned feeder patterns and strengthening neighborhood schools while limiting continued disruptions.

These aligned patterns offer a unique opportunity to build stronger communities, improve programmatic alignment across grade levels and reduce the number of times a student cohort splits into different schools.

We will use our previous drafts as a starting point for these discussions. During these kick-off meetings we will share the proposed process, the project timeline and upcoming engagement opportunities. Additionally, we will review the guiding principles and gather your feedback on the process and what success should look like for this initiative.
