Starting in the 2025-26 school year, the Austin ISD Alternative Learning Center (ALC), as well as some community partners, will co-locate at the Mendez Middle School campus. Austin ISD invites you to an information session to learn more. 

In addition, Dr. Terrance Green, an expert in educational leadership and policy from the University of Texas at Austin, will present the findings from his program evaluation for the ALC. The program evaluation will equip the district with data and stakeholder feedback to create clear, actionable recommendations for changes to improve outcomes for all students.
