Thank you for staying engaged in conversations and action steps to dismantle the school-to-prison pipeline and eliminate racial disparities in discipline and punishment in AISD. Your relationship and trust-building with each other has been phenomenal to witness!

Community Retreat #4 will be held Monday, July 19 from 5:30 to 7:36 p.m. via Zoom. To further our work, we will have a keynote speaker, a generational AISD graduate, who will share the history of the city of Austin (1928 Plan), the history of Austin ISD schools, and how this history informs our work to eliminate racial disparities in discipline and punishment. Additionally, each work group will share its goals and progress to eliminate racial disparities in discipline and punishment.
