In addition to the main stage summer musical "In the Heights," the 2019 AISD Summer Theatre Series is proud to announce the black box musical "Aladdin, the dual language edition."

Audition details

• 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. June 1 at the Crockett High School PAC
• Current Austin ISD students in grades 5–12
• Sign up for auditions online.

What to expect at auditions

You will be asked to sing, read and dance. No need to prepare anything. Dress comfortably, bring water and plan to stay for the entire three-hour block. Parents are welcome.

Summer schedule

All rehearsals are at the Austin ISD PAC, times TBD:

• June 10–14 
• June 17–21
• June 24–28 
• July 1–5: no rehearsal because of the Fourth of July holiday
• July 8–12 
• July 15–19
• July 22–28: dress rehearsal and show week—7 p.m Thursday, Friday and Saturday; 3 p.m. Sunday
• July 29: Strike
