Student Holiday* - Staff Development / Additional Professional Development Days

*Jan. 3–4 are a student holiday for all campuses except the Ann Richards School. Students at Ann Richards return to class Jan. 3. 

Students at all other campuses return to class Jan. 7. 

As a District of Innovation, Austin ISD gives campuses the flexibility to choose additional professional development days for staff. Those days are added as student holidays. ARS opted to add its professional development days at other times during the school year. For questions, please contact ARS directly at 512-414-3236.
