The TEA Department of Contracts, Grants and Financial Administration hosts a free statewide training 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Oct. 4 at the Austin ISD Performing Arts Center.

This training is open to all school districts, open-enrollment charter schools, education service centers and any other entities that receive federal education grants from TEA.

Education consultants who assist schools with federal grant management and compliance also are welcome to attend.

TEA staff will provide training and updates on federal grants administration, compliance, monitoring and EDGAR.

Attendees also will receive the latest information on the development of the new 2019–20 consolidated federal grants application that will include all ESSA, IDEA and Perkins federal grant programs.
