The Austin ISD Parent Engagement Support Office is hosting an informational series on Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, the federal program known as DACA.

Come learn about:

• What is happening to the DACA program?
• Who can still apply to renew DACA?
• What to know about work authorization.
• Where to get help at AISD and in the community: Free DACA renewal representations. (All applications must be received by USCIS by Oct. 5.)

An immigration lawyer from Equal Justice Center will be in attendance.

The series includes three sessions:

• Sept. 26–6:30–7:30 p.m. at Reagan Early College High School, 7104 Berkman Drive
• Sept. 27–8–9 a.m. at Hart Elementary, 8301 Furness St.
• Sept. 27–6:30–7:30 p.m. at Travis Early College High School, 1211 E. Oltorf St.
