Mathews Elementary School is hosting a party and pageant to honor its 100th anniversary! 

This event will feature performances by Mathews students as they tell the story of the school in a musical tribute to the “History of Mathews.”

A plaque recognizing Mathews’ inclusion on the list of the National Register of Historic Places will also be presented to the school. 

Alumni are invited to a reception after the program, and everyone is invited to tour the school. 

Performances will begin at 9 a.m., reception at 10 a.m. in the library and school tours at 11 a.m.

Alumni are asked to send historical photos in advance of the event to Mary Baughman at mcboffman@sbcglobal.net.
