We invite all Austin ISD schools to be part of the Hispanic Heritage Month Kickoff Celebration. The annual event highlights Hispanic diversity throughout the district during National Hispanic Heritage Month which is Sept.15-Oct.15.

When: 12:00 p.m.–1:30 p.m., Sept. 12

Where: Zavala Elementary Auditorium, 310 Robert Martinez Jr.

The event will also coincide with the celebration of the International Welcome Center's ribbon-cutting for its new location at Zavala Elementary.

Superintendent Paul Cruz will be the keynote speaker.
