Burnet Middle School will host its first Mother and Daughter Summit on April 2.

The purpose is to educate, motivate, empower and form strong bonds between mothers and daughters.

There will be breakout sessions by Con Mi Madre, Travis County Underage Drinking Program, Frost Bank and many more.

The event runs from 8 a.m. to noon and is open to the public.
