This HUB networking event will begin with a presentation outlining:

• Austin ISD HUB Program and CBOC HUB Subcommittee initiatives
• Disparity study
• Restriction on subcontractor/vendor substitutions or changes policy
• Prompt Pay payment processing
• Advances in reporting HUB participation
• Contractor outreach process
• Contractor outreach assistance available to prime contractors and construction manager at-risk firms
• Overview of ongoing and future projects

Following the presentation, there will be a networking session for HUB contractors with Austin ISD project managers and with prime contractors and construction manager at-risk firms doing business with Austin ISD. The district’s HUB consultant, and representatives from Miller Blueprint’s online plan room and BIG Austin will be available to provide free training and contractor assistance information on bonding strategies.
