Do your children love to sing, dance, draw, act or play an instrument? Do you wish you could enroll them in a fine arts academy to develop their skills? Well, now you can!

This fall, Blackshear Elementary will open its doors as Austin ISD’s first elementary fine arts academy.

All parents interested in enrolling their students at the Blackshear Elementary Fine Arts Academy are invited to an open house from 6–7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 31.

A short presentation will be provided as well as light refreshments, and staff will be on hand to enroll students for the fall.
