House Bill 5 was signed into law in 2013, changing Texas’ education system in the areas of state mandated exams and graduation plans. Most of the new requirements go into effect during the upcoming 2014-15 school year. Students, teachers, administrators, parents and businesses await and prepare for the opportunities and challenges that these changes will bring.
