What: The 33rd annual All City Music Memory Contest will be held at Austin High School on Saturday, May 11, 2013. Students from many of Austin Independent School District Elementary School campuses will compete between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm. The students will be tested on their ability to recognize 16 selections of great music, which they have been studying in their music classes. The selections range from classics of Bach, Mozart and Beethoven, to more modern hits by Duke Ellington and John Williams. The musicians for the contest are the Austin ISD All City Orchestra, singers from the Austin High School Choir and other performances by AISD music faculty members.
