Austin ISD is currently hiring Bus Drivers and Food Production Specialist Substitutes (temporary/hourly). Join us at our upcoming Job Fair from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11 at Baker Center Cafeteria, 3908 Ave. B.
Interviews for Bus Drivers and Food Production Specialist Substitutes will be conducted on-site for candidates who have completed their online job application.
Starting salaries for Bus Drivers are $13.90 per hour. Salaries for Food Production Specialist Substitutes are $7.25 per hour.
Minimum qualifications for Bus Drivers include:
- 21 years of age
- No record of DWI or convictions and acceptable driving record according to the Texas Department of Public Safety standards
- Completed online job application (computers available to applicants on-site)
- Candidates also must pass a physical examination, drug test, and criminal background check.
