The 2012 African American Heritage Celebration will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Sunday, February 19, 2012, at the Austin Convention Center, Ballrooms A-C, 500 East Cesar Chavez Street.

The event will recognize over 200 of our top male and female students in grades 6-12, and the 4th Grade 2012 Essay Contest Winners.

In addition, the following staff and community members will be honored: Sheriff Greg Hamilton, Nicole Conley-Abram, Janice Darrington, Q. Taylor, Joyce Brisco, Joan Roberts-Scott, Eddie Lewis and the Town Lake Chapter, The Links, Inc.
