Austin ISD Invites Exhibitors to the 14th Annual Back to School Bash and Safety Fair

  • 8 a.m.– Noon | Saturday, Aug. 3
  • Palmer Events Center, 900 Barton Springs Road

You’re invited to register as an exhibitor and share the services and resources your organization provides to our students and their families. 

Purpose

  • To inform AISD families about district and community services and resources that are available to help their students have a successful school year.
  • To partner with the city of Austin for a safety fair that informs the public about school zone laws and walking or biking to school safely.
  • To provide back-to-school health screenings and other services to AISD students as needed.

Last year, more than 11,500 attendees joined us at this exciting and informative event. We strongly encourage you to provide child-friendly activities and at least one Spanish-speaking representative at your table. 

Booth must be set up on Friday, Aug. 2, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. As an exhibitor you will receive:

  • One 6-foot table
  • Two chairs
  • Total booth space of 10’ x 10’

Last-minute setup can be done at 7 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3, and booths must be ready by no later than 7:30 a.m. More details, including parking information, will be sent via email to the exhibitor prior to the event.

Deadline to register as an exhibitor is Friday, June 28.

Calling all volunteers!

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the 14th Annual Back to School Bash and Safety Fair. Volunteers are key to the success of the Bash every year and are needed for a variety of areas, including:

  • Backpack assembly line and stuffing at the Delco Center
  • Event setup at the Palmer Events Center
  • Event-day support: greet and inform families on the process, hand out wristbands for children, and much more

Bilingual volunteers are encouraged, especially speakers of American Sign Language, Arabic, Burmese, Dari, Farsi, Kinyarwanda, Mandarin, Spanish, Pashto, Swahili and Vietnamese.
