How to Download and Share "Tools for Success" Materials

The Tools for Success (TFS) is a collection of virtual educational sessions designed to help district families learn about the various services and programs offered in Austin ISD. Presented by subject matter experts, these sessions are available in English, Spanish, and other languages upon request.

Tools for Success: Spring Semester Update

We’re excited to announce the return of Austin ISD Tools for Success (TFS) this spring with a refreshed format! Despite recent district changes, our commitment to supporting families and strengthening our community remains strong.

Online Tools for Success Sessions

Throughout the spring semester, TFS will offer virtual sessions focused on key district services, programs, and community resources.

  • Advance registration is required
  • Interpretation in additional languages will be available upon request

These interactive workshops provide families with practical tools and information to support student success. All Austin ISD families and community members are welcome.

Tools for Success LIVE (In-Person) Sessions & Events

  • Available by campus request
  • TFS staff collaborate with campuses to plan and support events
  • Sessions review school and district resources and respond to family needs

Herramientas para el Éxito: Actualización del semestre de primavera

Nos complace anunciar el regreso de Herramientas para el Éxito (TFS) de Austin ISD esta primavera con un formato renovado. A pesar de los recientes cambios en el distrito, nuestro compromiso de apoyar a las familias y fortalecer a nuestra comunidad sigue siendo el mismo.

Sesiones virtuales de Herramientas para el Éxito

Durante el semestre de primavera, TFS ofrecerá sesiones virtuales enfocadas en servicios clave del distrito, programas y recursos comunitarios.

  • Se requiere registro previo

  • La interpretación en otros idiomas estará disponible con previa solicitud

Estos talleres interactivos brindan a las familias herramientas prácticas e información útil para apoyar el éxito académico de sus estudiantes. Todas las familias y miembros de la comunidad de Austin ISD son bienvenidos.

Herramientas para el Éxito EN VIVO (Sesiones y eventos presenciales)

  • Disponibles por solicitud de la escuela
  • El equipo de TFS colabora con las escuelas para planear y apoyar los eventos
  • Las sesiones revisan recursos escolares y del distrito y responden a las necesidades de las familias

Section 504 Complaint Form

If your child has a physical or mental disability, they may be eligible for Section 504 services and supports. Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 is the civil rights law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability; and guarantees individuals with disabilities equal access to an education.

How can I file a complaint? What rights do I have?

Local school districts are responsible for implementing Section 504 Plans, a first step is to contact the campus Principal and the campus Section 504 coordinator to discuss your concerns. 

Audiology Suite Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting

Join us for the ribbon cutting and grand opening of the very first audiology booth in Austin ISD!

The audiology booth will assist Austin ISD's educational audiologists and deaf/hard of hearing team to support students who are part of the Austin ISD Regional Day School Program for the Deaf (RDSPD), and support all students who may be hard of hearing.
