With the passage of Austin ISD Proposition A in Tuesday’s election, voters in the Austin community chose to invest in our public school teachers, our essential public school employees, our students, and our community’s future.
Join us as we kick off Native American Heritage Month with a special gathering at Austin ISD's Central Office. Celebrate and honor the culture and history of Native American communities. Opening remarks by Austin ISD Superintendent Matias Segura, Land Recognition and Four Directions Gratitude Ritual and Origin Storytelling by Julia Remington and Krystal Colhoff, and a performance by Great Promise for the American Indians Dance Group.
