Preliminary data shows sixth grade transition plan working (En Español)

More families are staying in Austin ISD under the proposed plan to transition sixth grade from Martin and Mendez middle schools, and we’ve got the numbers to prove it.  Why it matters: We announced in February that we’d be transitioning sixth grade to 10 elementary schools that fed into Martin and Mendez middle schools starting next school year.  

MEDIA ADVISORY: Rosedale School Celebrates Grand Opening

The Rosedale School will host a grand opening ceremony to celebrate its new campus on Monday, March 7.

As part of the 2017 Bond Program, the Rosedale School received a fully modernized campus, custom-built to the needs of its students. Austin ISD invites families and community members to celebrate the grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, campus tour and outdoor activities.

Campus Report Cards now Available

Two report cards about your campus are now available for you to review. 

  • They’re called the State of Texas 2020–21 School Report Card and the Federal Report Card.  

Why it matters: These report cards provide information about student performance on the STAAR test, as well as enrollment, class size averages, and financial expenditures.  

Family Leadership Conference "Adelante 2022"

The Parent Engagement Support Office (PESO), Austin Area Association for Bilingual Education (AAABE) and Families as Partners present, ADELANTE! Virtual Family Leadership Conference. The conference will feature four live zoom sessions around various topics including mental health & wellness, special educational and dual language programming.
