Instalación de Minecraft: Education Edition

Los estudiantes podrán iniciar sesión en Minecraft: Education Edition usando su dirección de correo electrónico del AISD. (Los estudiantes pueden encontrarla en el menú del Perfil del usuario en el portal del AISD). Inmediatamente después de poner un correo electrónico del AISD, se le pedirá al estudiante que ponga su número de id. de estudiante y una contraseña en una ventana que aparece en el portal del AISD. Esto sucederá independientemente del dispositivo que esté usando el estudiante.

Austin ISD Celebrates Grand Opening of New Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders

Today, Austin ISD and the Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders celebrated the grand opening of the new modernized campus, built as part of the 2017 Bond Program. Students, staff and community members gathered to officially cut the ribbon on the new building, which has been open for learning since completion in January 2021.

The Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate its new campus on Wednesday, March 30.

As part of the 2017 Bond Program, Ann Richards SYWL received a state-of-the-art modernized campus, which opened to students in January 2021. The school serves an all-female population of grades 6-12, preparing them for college through rigorous academics, fine arts, and real-world service projects. 

Trustees approve Third Future Schools to turn around Mendez Middle School

The Austin ISD Board of Trustees has approved Third Future Schools to turn Mendez Middle School’s academic performance around as part of what’s called an 1882 partnership.

Why it matters: Mendez has been rated as an “F” school by the Texas Education Agency since 2013. If the campus doesn’t improve academics during the 2022-23 school year, or the Texas Education Agency could take over the district.
