Austin ISD has formed a Dress Code working group to review the dress code policies.
The administration has been reviewing other districts' dress code policies, as well as current research on best practices.
To help initiate this process the district has developed a Dress Code Policy Revision Survey and AISD dress code draft policies.

Anderson High School robotics team, the ausTIN CANs, is wrapping up a successful year of competition in the world of competitive robotics.
The competition season culminated in back-to-back weeks of participation in two different World tournaments.
The Austin ISD Office of Academics and Social and Emotional Learning invites families to review the district’s revised Human Sexuality and Responsibility lessons and resources.
AISD is proposing to use the Get Real lessons for grades 6–8, and staff will write lessons for grades 3–5.
Lessons also will be on display 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. May 20–24 at the AISD Science and Health Resource Center, 305 N. Bluff Drive, 78745. Spanish interpreters will be available 9 a.m.–noon May 22.
