Eastside Memorial Early College High School and International High School Moving to Historic Original L.C. Anderson High School Site

Austin ISD will break ground Saturday, Jan. 19 at 9:30 a.m. on a new $80 million campus for Eastside Memorial Early College High School and International High School at the site of the Original L.C. Anderson campus at 900 Thompson Street in East Austin.
 
There will be an outdoor and indoor program, which will include speakers from all three schools and a panel discussion on promise, pain, pride, perseverance and posterity that focuses on the unity of the three school communities.

School Choice Week Celebration

Austin ISD celebrates National School Choice Week by highlighting the abundance of choices within the district, with a focus on Early College High School. National Choice Week is dedicated to raising public awareness of the options available to students. 

Join the district at 10 a.m., Jan. 23 at Crockett Early College High School, 5601 Manchaca Road.

2,000 Points and Counting

As she scored the 2,000th point of her basketball career, Crockett ECHS senior Jordyn Carter joined an elite group of high school athletes—and made it look easy. 

Up against the Lanier Lady Vikings on Jan. 2, and with 1:27 in the third quarter, Carter got herself to the free throw line and got the bucket she needed to reach 2,000 points. 

She credited her success to hard work and the support of her teammates.

El Departamento de Educación Escolar, Familiar y Comunitaria del Austin ISD invita a los adultos interesados en aprender inglés a una de nuestras próximas series de clases.

Las clases de ESL para adultos del AISD son gratuitas, pero los estudiantes tienen que cumplir con lo siguiente:
