Beginning today, the early college high school program located at William B. Travis High School will give students the opportunity to take college courses for credit.
Through the early college high school program, students can earn up to 60 hours of college credit for free, with the opportunity to earn an associate degree.
“This program not only saves students and their families money when they earn college credit for free, but it will also allow these students to complete their bachelor's degree early,” said Travis High School Principal Ty Davidson.
Admissions representatives from Texas A&M University, Texas State University and UT-Austin will present information for 30 minutes each.
Topics include admissions process, applications and financial aid.
This free event is open to all high school students and their parents/guardians.
