Oak Hill Elementary has been named a No Place for Hate School!
Students on the No Place for Hate Coalition and the faculty and staff at Oak Holl staged a flash mob for the student body at the school wide assembly on May 30 to celebrate achieving our No Place for Hate Designation.
Students lined colorful beach towels at Pecan Springs Elementary School’s lawn today practicing yoga as part of the Andy Roddick Foundation Summer Learning Program.
This five-week summer program allows more than 70 Austin-area students in kindergarten through fifth grade to attend summer camp and participate in activities from gardening to robotics.

More than 660 students, their friends and families filled the Frank Erwin Center today to celebrate the achievemens of the Bowie High School class of 2014.
Interim Superintendent Paul Cruz spoke to the crowd about some of the school's awards and accomplishments this year, including U.S. News and World Report's ranking of Bowie among the top high schools in the nation. Bowie also earned the organization's Silver Medal Award for student achievement.
