Austin ISD has been awarded Aetna’s 2023 Workplace Well-Being Platinum Award for the second straight year! This award recognizes the commitment our district has made to creating a healthier, happier workplace for employees through a comprehensive and engaging wellness package.
Why it matters: Our Austin ISD team members are the beating heart of our district, and we’re committed to helping you stay healthy and well. Our robust wellness program provides support for you to thrive in all aspects of your wellness: physically, mentally, financially, and socially.
The details: Austin ISD is one of only four Platinum Award winners for the public and labor market in Texas. Aetna presented the Talent Strategy and the Benefits team with the award in a reception at the Austin ISD Central Office last week.
What they’re saying: “Being a repeat Platinum award winner really speaks volumes to the success that the Austin team has had,” said Darren Bruton, the Executive Director Market Head of Sales for Aetna Public and Labor. “[It’s] just a tremendous amount of work—not just offering benefits but really caring about the whole person and how the employees and their families are engaged with the benefit programs.”
