Through Sept. 18, Austin iSD sixth- through 12th-grade students may register for the "testing out" exam.

The exam is administered to students seeking credit for a course in which they have had no prior instruction. It is formally known as Credit by Exam for Acceleration.

To register, students need approval from their campus principal, registrar or counselor and must score 80 or above to earn credit.
