Bowie High School had this year's largest graduating class in the district, with 663 seniors crossing the stage.
The class of 2015 has certainly lived up to the school motto, "Pride in Performance."
“We started hearing about the character and integrity of the class of 2015 in the spring of their eighth-grade year. Middle school counselors, coaches and teachers told us, 'You are going to love this class. They are so kind, loving and take care of each other so well. They are also really, really bright,'” said Bowie Counselor Nona May.
More than 90 percent of graduates were accepted to colleges and universities—many to five or more—throughout the United States.
And for the first time in Bowie history, the Bulldogs beat Lake Travis!
"How we meet challenges will determine our mark on the world," said Bowie Co-valedictorian Nathan Alvarez Olson. "And in the midst of crisis, we are bound to each other."
Congratulations to the Bowie High School class of 2015!
You make us #AISDProud.
