Travis High School Welcomes Consuelo Kickbusch

Travis High School invites the community to a presentation April 30 by motivational speaker Lt. Col. Consuelo Kickbusch.

Born and raised in Laredo, Kickbusch graduate from Hardin Simmons University and then served in the U.S. Army for two decades as a commissioned officer. Kickbusch took advantage of her time in the military and set several records, including becoming the highest-ranking Hispanic woman in the Combat Support Field of the U.S. Army.

Kickbusch is the founder of the Educational Achievement Services Inc., which she began as a way to honor her mother’s dying request that she return to her roots and become a role model and a leader for the community.

EAS Inc.’s mission, and Kickbusch’s, is to prepare the leaders of tomorrows.
