In celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Austin ISD schools are invited to participate in the MLK food drive. 

Donations of nonperishable food can be dropped off at schools from Jan. 13–29. Donations will help fill the shelves of the Capital Area Food Bank.

The school that collects the most food will be featured on the AISD radio program “Breaking Down the Barriers” in February as part of AISD's Black History Month Celebration.
