The Department of Professional Development is excited to introduce you to our 2013-2014 Demonstration Classroom Teachers.
Demonstration Classroom Teachers (DCTs) are AISD educators who provide an exemplar resource for instructional practices in our district. These embedded professional development models utilize the expertise of classroom teachers who demonstrate consistent, effective and student driven instructional practices.
Demonstration Classroom videotaped lessons and supporting resources are now available as a part of our course offerings in the Professional Development area of the Human Capital Platform. There are currently over two dozens videos available in the HCP. Under the Professional Development tab in HCP, search “Demonstration Classrooms” in the Course Title text box to view our Elementary online video course.
DCT classrooms are open and available to AISD employees for scheduled observations. To schedule a visit submit the visit request form from the link below.
