This Sunday, the Austin Independent School District will host the 30th Annual African-American Heritage Celebration. During the event, the district will honor some of its finest student and community leaders. The assembly will take place at 3 p.m. at the Palmer Event Center, 900 Barton Springs Road. All community members are invited to attend to help celebrate these remarkable individuals in the district and the community.
