Austin Partners in Education, in partnership with Austin ISD, is proud to present Celebrate, an evening dedicated to honoring AISD volunteers.
The event will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m., Thursday, May 3 at the Delco Center, 4601 Pecan Brook Dr. Please join Superintendent Meria Carstarphen, State Representative Donna Howard, Wells Fargo Community Bank President Mark Curry and Board of Trustees President Mark Williams in recognizing PTA of the Year, Partner in Education Coordinator of the Year, APIE Partner of the Year and APIE Hall of Fame inductee.
The program will include student performances, guest presenters, prizes and more! Individuals, community groups and local businesses including Outstanding Campus Volunteers and Volunteer Groups, Campus Partners, Mentors, Classroom Coaches and Parent Ambassadors will be honored.
APIE reinforces the district’s mission to have students graduate college and career ready, by placing more adults in the classroom, providing high engagement learning activities and expanding opportunities for students to work collaboratively in small groups.

SAVE THE DATE FOR SALUTE
Save the date for Salute, a tribute to teaching excellence throughout the district, will be held at the Long Center for the Performing Arts Wednesday, May 23. This annual event, co-hosted by AISD and Austin Partners in Education, will include a program recognizing our teachers, performances by students and a honoree reception. At Salute, we also will name the Austin Teacher of the Year, who will serve as the District’s nominee for the Texas Teacher of the Year Program. Click here to learn more about Salute.
