Austin ISD Public Hearing Regarding Utilization of 2008 Bond Contingency Funds

Discussion and possible Board action regarding the utilization of 2008 Bond Program Contingency Funds:

AISD will hold a public hearing Jan. 23, to discuss the utilization of 2008 Bond Program Contingency Funds. Contingency funds are remaining from approved and completed 2008 Bond Program projects. It is estimated that there is approximately $19 million in contingency funds available for reallocation. The administration is considering using $16 million of these remaining funds for urgent maintenance projects and to support the implementation of the 2012-13 Annual Academic and Facilities Recommendations.
