In early December, five students from Crockett High School competed at the Texas Thespian Festival: The Age of Change.The students, representing Troupe #1924, attended workshops, competed in acting events and auditioned for scholarships.

 The Crockett troupe displayed great talent and competitive aptitude at the state-wide theatre competition:

• Senior, Riley Chandler received all superior ratings in the Monologue Competition, which has qualified him for Nationals. He also received 11 call backs in the auditions.
• Senior, Jennie Gaston and sophomore, Cheston Dorman received a superior rating in the Duet Acting competition, qualifying both for Nationals.
• Senior, Kayla Keith and Junior, Cassidy Hernandez: Received an excellent rating in the Duet Musical Competition
