The Austin Ed Fund’s 10th annual Inspire the Future luncheon brought public education advocates across the city together this week in support of Austin ISD. Why it matters: Strong Schools, Stronger Austin isn’t just a saying in Austin ISD. With the support of businesses, elected officials and community leaders, our students will continue thriving in our classrooms.

In honor of Dyslexia Awareness Month, Superintendent Matias Segura made a special visit to Palm Elementary School to recognize Dyslexia Interventionist Jessica Gomez with a Golden Rave Award! AISD Announces Elementary, Middle and High School Teachers of the Year During Surprise Visits
Superintendent Paul Cruz surprised three teachers in their classrooms today to announce their selection as Austin ISD's 2015 Teachers of the Year for elementary, middle and high school.Being selected as a Teacher of the Year is one of the highest honors bestowed on AISD teachers.
