AISD Gets the Blood Pumping with Healthy Bike Ride and Welcome Back Press Conference at Zavala Elementary Today
Austin Independent School District (AISD) Superintendent Meria Carstarphen kicked-off the 2011-2012 school year this morning by joining the bike club of Zavala Elementary School, the "Freewheelin' Mustangs," for a ride around their east side neighborhood. End-of-Year Review Highlights AISD Successes
AISD began the 2013–14 school year on Aug. 26, 2013, with more than 85,000 students, including 561 Grizzlies at the district’s newest facility, Janis Guerrero Thompson Elementary, which opened this year. Texas Education Agency Says AISD Exceeds All Targets of State Accountability System Overall
