Austin ISD Encourages Eligible Families to Apply for the Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer Program
The Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer program could provide Austin ISD families a one-time benefit for eligible families to buy food. Families could receive up to $285 per child, which can be used in the same way as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program food benefits to pay for groceries.

Austin ISD families will receive free produce boxes at AISD curbside meal sites beginning Wednesday, July 22. The boxes will feature locally grown produce, such as peppers, melons, squash, carrots and other seasonal staples.
