T. A. Brown Elementary Hosts College and Career Day Event
More than 20 Austin-area professionals visited T. A. Brown Elementary School to speak with students about college and careers. The speakers shared stories May 18 about their professions and how they used their skills and personal interests to prepare for a fulfilling career.

Education with Heart: A Community Celebration
The Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center (ESB MACC) has partnered with Austin Independent School District (AISD) and Academia Cuauhtli to host Education with Heart: A Community Celebration. This event will take place at Mendez Middle School, 5106 Village Square Drive Austin, TX 78744 on Saturday, May 4 from 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
