AUSTIN, TX—Five Austin Independent School District high schools are among the best in the nation, according to a Newsweek and The Daily Beast ranking released today. The district’s Liberal Arts Science Academy and Anderson, Austin, Bowie and McCallum high schools each earned a spot on the list of “America’s Best High Schools.”
Austin ISD Will Serve Up Good Nutrition for Local Children This Summer
Bringing healthy summer meals to the Austin community ensures kids have a healthy vacation and return to school ready to learn. This summer, Austin ISD will serve anyone 18 years old and younger healthy meals at more than 50 campuses at no cost through the Summer Food Service Program. Both breakfast and lunch will be offered at all AISD summer meal sites.

Kealing Middle School science teacher Logan Pearce recently returned from the Honeywell Educators @ Space Academy at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL.
