Austin ISD leaders are now proposing an 1882 partnership with the Texas Council for International Studies (TCIS) to continue student achievement efforts at Burnet, Dobie and Webb middle schools.
Earth Week 2026
Every day is Earth Day at Austin ISD! This week especially, we hope that everyone in our school community will take a moment to think about how they can make the earth and our community a better place and perform an action to do so. Austin ISD celebrates Earth Week 2026, April 20-25, and Earth Day, April 22.
Employee Badges
Access Badges The Office of Talent Strategy provides badge access to all district employees. Employees must have an active employee identification number in order to receive a badge. All access badge requests for campus-based staff must be verified before they are processed.
Summer Internship Info Session
All 9th-11th grade Austin ISD students are invited to Dream Big this Summer with an Austin ISD Summer Internship! These info sessions will include basic information about the program, including steps to sign up, industry partners, how interns will earn course credit, and time for Q&A.
Achievement gaps narrow across Austin ISD second-grade classrooms
Austin ISD is seeing significant gains in student achievement and substantial reductions in achievement gaps between student groups. This news comes from mid-year testing reports, which track second-grade students who are identified for additional support in math and reading.
