AISD Celebrates Grand Opening of Modernized Blazier Intermediate Site
Today, Austin ISD and Blazier Elementary School celebrated the grand opening ceremony of the modernized Blazier School Intermediate Site, built as part of the 2017 Bond Program. Students, families and community members joined AISD and Blazier campus leadership this morning in a virtual event to honor the milestone.

Austin Ed Fund Creates Harvey Relief Fund for Evacuee Students in Austin
Austin ISD welcomes all students impacted by Hurricane Harvey. At the community’s request, Austin ISD has created a way for community members to donate to support the needs of evacuees enrolling in Austin ISD through Austin Ed Fund. Funds will provide school supplies and support for students enrolling in Austin ISD campuses.Gifts may be made to the Austin Ed Fund Harvey Relief Fund here.

Rosedale School Celebrates 2020 Graduation
Rosedale School community, staff, families and friends joined together on June 16 to celebrate the 2020 graduating class through a virtual ceremony. Superintendent Paul Cruz congratulated the graduates of this year's class via a video statement. His remarks were followed by a speech from Principal Elizabeth Dickey.

Sunset Valley Elementary Teacher Receives $10,000 Grant from Rack Room Shoes
Smiles could almost be seen through masks at Sunset Valley Elementary School on Monday. That’s because Jessica Onyegam was recognized as a Rack Room Shoes Teacher of the Year. She was presented with a $10,000 technology lab grant for the school and a $500 Rack Room Shoes gift card for her. Principal Marizza Marquez says she is not surprised Onyegam was chosen for this award.
