Austin ISD Board of Trustees is accepting application to fill the vacant District 7 seat.The passing of Trustee Robert Schneider in July created an open seat on the board. AUSTIN, Texas—Jeanie Tuttle, a librarian at Clayton Elementary School, will star as Mother Ginger in Ballet Austin’s opening night performance of “The Nutcracker” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec 7, at the Long Center for the Performing Arts, 701 W. Riverside Drive.Tuttle received more than 3,300 votes during the three-week voting period for Austin’s Mother Ginger contest.
AISD Monitors Weather Overnight
AISD continues to monitor the weather and the latest information available from the National Weather Service as rains, coupled with freezing temperatures, are expected overnight. However, the district recognizes that the true impact of the inclement weather likely will not be known until overnight and into the early morning.
