As of 7:19 a.m., March 4 AISD remains on a two-hour delay. Classes and district office hours for all AISD campuses will operate on a two-hour delay.AISD buses will also operate on a two-hour delay. Parents with questions about transportation can call AISD's transportation department between 7:45 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. at 512-414-0238.

U.S. Representative Lloyd Doggett was presented with the first-ever Bryker Woods Elementary School Alumni Achievement Award Aug. 27 by the Bryker Woods PTA. Why it matters: The congressman, an alumni of Bryker Woods, O. Henry Middle School and Austin High School, was recognized for his lifelong work supporting public schools.
