Austin ISD Federal Funding Update (En Español)

Dear Austin ISD Family, Earlier this month, we shared that more than $9 million in federal education grants were under extended review by the federal government. These funds, which support critical programming and staff positions across our district, were not released as expected on July 1, creating significant uncertainty for our community.

Austin ISD launches mobile app for district news, events and emergency notifications (En español)

A new mobile app for Austin ISD is now available for download. How it works: Users can stay up-to-date with events, documents, news from administrators, student stories and emergency notifications.

Transition Services News and Calendar

The Austin ISD Transition Team is committed to providing students and their families with a wide variety of events and resources to help with student success. Monthly Austin ISD transition events will be provided throughout the district to provide transition supports for students in early childhood through high school. All grades are encouraged to attend.

AISD Operates on Normal Schedule Monday

All Austin ISD schools and offices will operate on a normal schedule Monday, Nov. 25.Students and families are encouraged to dress warmly and stay safe while traveling or walking to school. There are no changes to bus routes or pickups times; however, families should expect traffic delays due to weather. Any tardies due to the weather will be excused.

AISD Cancels Classes Feb. 7 Due to Weather

AUSTIN, Texas—Austin ISD has canceled all classes for Friday, Feb. 7 due to weather and road conditions out of concern for the safety of students, staff and families.District offices also will be closed.For the latest weather information, tune in to your local news or visit the National Weather Service.
