Pre-K and Kinder registrations spike for the 2022-23 school year
In another sign that the pandemic is waning, registrations for Austin ISD pre-K and kindergarten have already doubled what they were last spring. Why it matters: The district saw the largest decrease in enrollment among pre-K and kindergarten through the pandemic, and this accounted for a large portion of the district failing to meet enrollment expectations.

AUSTIN, Texas—The Austin Independent School District will be closed for Spring Break, Monday, March 10, through Friday, March 14.All AISD offices and schools will be closed during this period.
