Join Anderson High School for a ceremony celebrating the continued excellence of L.C. Anderson from its inception in East Austin to its current location in West Austin. The ceremony will include a presentation of original L.C. Anderson memorabilia (1907-71) from the Original L.C Anderson Alumni Association to be permanently displayed at Anderson High School.

Health and Physical Education textbooks open to family review
Austin ISD families can review health and physical education textbooks and provide feedback via a survey. Why it matters: This is the first time in 14 years that the textbooks have been revised. It’s also the first time in 24 years that the state has revised what it requires us to teach (what they call the Texas Essential Knowlege and Skills, or TEKS).

Austin ISD to Mail Learning Packets / El Austin ISD enviará paquetes de aprendizaje por correo postal
(El español está disponible abajo) AISD staff will begin mailing packets on Monday, April 27 for Pre-K–eighth grades. To reduce the number of people at curbside food distribution sites, learning packets will no longer be available at food sites. Food distribution will continue as usual. Students of families who qualify for free and reduced lunch will automatically receive these mailed packets.
