Anderson, Austin and Lanier Students Earn College Funding
Nine former AISD students were awarded the 2015 Neal Kocurek Scholarship from the St. David’s Foundation. The student’s receive $7,500 a semester, up to a total of $60,000, to go toward their undergraduate, graduate and doctorate studies.The following selected recipients are:Anderson High School

AISD Invites Community to Help Name North Central Elementary School No. 2
AUSTIN, Texas—Austin ISD’s Board of Trustees invites community members to submit nominations for the name of a new elementary school campus in north Austin. The school, located at 2011 W. Rundberg Lane, is under construction and scheduled to open in August.The nomination process will close on March 16 at midnight. The school board is scheduled to take action in April.
